The Commandant of  Tanzania Correctional Training Academy (TCTA) SACP. Willington Kahumuza and Vice Chancellor of Mzumbe University, Prof. William Mwegoha have signed an agreement document aimed at establishing and issuing a Diploma in Law between the colleges on 12/06/2024. In addition at that event the Commandant of  Tanzania Correctional Training Academy (TCTA) SACP. Willington Kahumuza has said that it is an opportunity for them to strengthen cooperation that will bring productivity between the colleges for staff to share experience but also to ensure that the graduating students become experts and able to meet the needs of society in matters of law.

The agreement of this cooperation directs the participation of Mzumbe University in preparing curriculum, administration and preparation of exams and then issuing certificates to the graduates . Also, this partnership directs the Tanzania Correctional Training Academy (TCTA) to provide infrastructure that will help students find a career based on the curriculum.
