It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Tanzania Correctional Training Academy (TCTA). This is a government Institution under Tanzania Prisons Service established in 1959  with the  Mission of preparing competent prisons officers with necessary knowledge and skills to manage prisons in the country.

In 2015, the College was formally registered by NACTVET to provide excellent Correctional Science professions along National and International set of norms and standards related disciplines. Our motivated and competent staffs work harmoniously in a community that life-long friendships and collegiality are encultured.
